Our Inspiration

The name “Obadiah Missions” is inspired by the Old Testament story of Obadiah, who hid a hundred prophets of God in two caves, fifty in each, to protect them from Jezebel, the wife of Ahab, a notoriously ruthless king of Israel.

Obadiah was situated in a unique position: he served as the right-hand man of King Ahab and simultaneously worked for the preservation of the prophets of God, including Elijah. While Elijah worked to confront Ahab from outside the court, Obadiah worked behind the scenes from within the court of Ahab

Our Mission

Obadiah Missions Inc (OMI) is rooted in the idea of helping those who are interested in discovering and developing his or her own sense of calling, both ministerially and professionally. OMI aims to do this by engaging in community outreach, biblical and theological studies, Christian education, and various cultural activities outside of the church.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe space for anyone to learn about the various aspects of Christian life, practices, and beliefs, for the hope of raising one to become a Christian leader to better serve his or her own communities.
